A-0502 Cutting disc
The A-0502 is the world’s only ATEX-certified cutting disc of its kind. Designed for cutting through pipes and removing welds, it delivers straight clean cuts. Beyond these primary applications the disc offers a wide range of additional uses, making it a versatile tool for demanding environments.
Manufactured with more than 95% tungsten carbide and exceeding 9.7 on the Rockwell toughness scale, the A-0502 ensures exceptional durability and performance. Cleanup is safe and efficient, as all large, blunt fragments fall within just a few centimetres.
The disc is designed for use with our Ex-certified angle grinder, approved for safe operation in ATEX gas zones 1 and 2 as well as dust zones 21 and 22. With this solution, you can eliminate the need for time-consuming risk analyses and avoid costs tied to shutdowns, fire guards, hot work permits, habitats, and extensive cleanup work.
